I had a blast leading this sold-out sketching tour in downtown Los Angeles with a fantastic group of participants. The tour focused on the Apple Tower Theatre in Los Angeles Broadway Theater District.
Angelenos came this theatre in the late 1920s to watch silent films and the first ever “talking pictures.” In 2021, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook inaugurated the space as a retail location — the most lavish Apple store I’ve ever visited.
During the tour I shared the story of the beautiful landmark and demonstrated sketching a view of its Baroque-revival exterior and iconic tower.
