On Sept. 19, I gave an urban sketching tour/demo at the Neptune Fountain near Alexanderplatz in Berlin. This striking baroque-revival fountain is one of the places I visited in Berlin Sept. 1990, just a few days before Germany’s reunification following the fall of the Berlin Wall 10 months earlier.
My sketcher friend @surrey_sketches helped me recreate a photo of much-younger-me from back then and also did a fabulous sketch of me. Thanks Detlef!
