I really enjoyed discovering this part of London today with @urbansketcherslondon. Coal Drops Yard (@coaldropsyard) was a hub where coal from mines in North England was delivered through canals and by rail in the 19th century. The site eventually fell into decay and became a wasteland, a place known for prostitution, drugs and illegal clubs. Since its revitalization in the past decade, it has become a cool shopping and dining destination where any sketcher would enjoy bringing their sketchbook. #urbansketchers #usklondon#sketchbook #pocketsketchbook
