June 13, 2021. This morning the @uskseattle group gathered to sketch in person for the first time in 16 months. It was a typical June-gloomy day of drizzle and clouds but everyone seemed really excited for the return of the regular monthly sketch outings. (Seattle is the first major U.S. city to reach 70% COVID-19 vaccination rate for 12 and older, yay for that!) I enjoyed drawing on my medium-size @stillmanandbirn sketchbook, which had been collecting dust for quite a few months. Gas Works never fails to offer interesting viewpoints to sketch. H2 pencil, Micron pens and monochrome wash.
