The kinetic sculpture by Johnathan Borofsky represents the worker in all of us. It stands 48 feet tall at the University Street entrance of the Seattle Art Museum. Always pounding away, Hammering Man never fails to inspire me. It’s a reminder that it takes work to make things happen, and that all jobs are important for society to function.
