Let’s Draw LA: Walt Disney Concert Hall

Frank Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao blew me away when I first saw it many years ago. The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, his hometown, is just as spectacular. Where did Gehry get his inspiration for such iconic buildings? How did he pull off such an unconventional design? Join me to sketch and learn more about a building that revolutionized modern architecture.

  • When: Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025. 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Where: Walt Disney Concert Hall. 111 S Grand Ave. Los Angeles.  Meet by the entrance on the Southwest Corner of S Grand Ave and W 1st St. (Google Maps)
  • What to bring: Sketching tools of your choice. A small portable stool is recommended.
